The planning application for West Cumbria Mining’s Woodhouse Colliery was validated in June 2017, reference number 4/17/9007.   If you would like to support or raise any concerns about the project to be considered by Cumbria County Council, you can contact them in the following ways.  Please remember to include your postcode and planning application reference number in the subject.

A full copy of the planning application will be available to view on the Cumbria County Council planning site www.cumbria.gov.uk, or at Copeland Borough Council’s offices, Market Hall, Market Place, Whitehaven CA28 7JG (during normal office hours) or at Whitehaven Library, Lowther Street, Whitehaven CA28 7QZ (during normal working hours).  You can also view them during normal working hours at the WCM Haig offices or at the WCM public update events to be held on 23rd, 24th, 25th June (10am-4pm) at the Haig offices.  A full copy of the planning documents can also be obtained on a memory stick or CD from the WCM Haig office for £5.
