I would like to see the construction and digging/boring out of the drift. I am very much interested in mining and think it’s fantastic we can now continue coal mining in Whitehaven.

A hope that future/modern developments will perpetuate heritage of mining in West Cumbria, eg Haig Museum and WCM visitor centre
